Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults in the United States age 18 and older, or 18.1% of the population every year. Anxiety disorders are highly treatable, yet only 36.9% of those suffering receive treatment.
I am one of those affected.
I am apart of that 36.9% who doesn’t seek treatment. I am against medications. I don’t want to be a slug. I have three children. I want to laugh with them and hug their little bodies. I don’t want to be numb through the best years of their life.
But they also deserve a mother who isn’t afraid to look the cashier in the eyes. Who can take them to the carnival all by herself, even when surrounded by hundreds of strangers. They deserve a mother who can pick up the damn phone to call their doctors appointments in.
I WANT TO JUST BE A NORMAL MOTHER!
So I started looking for a solution. I started with CBD oil, and let me tell you it has worked WONDERS! If you are interested in trying CBD oil, you can order it here. However, not everyone is down with oil and I have this thing about needing to help others just like me. So on Facebook one day I was in a piercing group, they had mentioned how the “rook’ piercing helped with anxiety.
Me being the questionable person I am thought “I have never heard this, why would they think this, I wonder if there is a pressure point around there that does something similar to the daith piercing?”
Well 4 hours of googling, 3 hours of researching acupuncture books, and an hour of carefully planning I launched an Anxiety Piercing Study
What I found was ASTOUNDING! The ‘rook’ piercing does NOT help anxiety. While researching I found when it is pierced incorrectly it would. However, I may be able to help your anxiety but piercing you wrong would give you a whole new set of problems. So I came up with a solution.
Out of the 50 people who participated in the original study 48 have experienced some kind of relief. Although I can not promise to take your anxiety away, my results speak for itself.
I encourage you to join my Facebook group, Anxiety Piercing to see if this would be something you’re interested in.
Please be aware I have not shared how to appropriately locate each individuals pressure point in their ear until you come in for your piercing.
Each persons anatomy is different. Just because you see someone else’s location DOES NOT mean yours is the same.
For these reasons, if you are looking for anxiety relief, please come to see me. You can book your appointment at
